With a long weekend on the horizon, there is no better way to spend it than to hit the track or trails. It's time to get your gear in check and shake off the dust for the adventure that awaits, make the most of your time off by getting prepared early.
There's nothing worse than rocking up to the track and your bike won't start, or you didn't put fresh rubber on and you've got no traction... way to ruin a good time! Make sure you're on top of your bike prep so you aren't scrambling to get ready at the last minute!
You've got no plans for the long weekend? Then you've got time on your hands to give your bike a bit of extra love. Free your mind from those niggly maintenance tasks... grease some bearings, rebuild the top end, repack your exhaust, and bleed those brakes. You'll want to have all your parts and tools ready to go so you don't waste any time.

Now how are you going to get your bike to the track? Trailer, ute, van, or if you don't have any of these don't let it stop you, as long as you've got a towbar you can put a bike rack on your car. There are a few things that will help with this, so don't forget your tie-downs, you'll need a ramp (or maybe two), and a bike stand will come in handy when you get to the track
There are always those extra bits and pieces you can't live without, so make the weekend a breeze by picking up all the essentials to get you through. Beat the heat with electrolytes, a good hydration pack, and a hat, but you won't get too far without extra fuel so you'll need a fuel can, and don't be that unprepared person asking around for tools.
