New chain :)

Great experience, easy purchase process and quick delivery. The only minor issue was that the chain was four links too long. Not a big issue if you have the tooling to remove the links.

Carby kit

Great kit, but....

The kit is probably great for most rebuilds. But for the DRZ400E there is a middle section of the carb that has a couple of '0' rings that are not in the kit. Bit of a shame to find that out after I stripped it down. I've used All Balls stuff before and have always found the quality good.

Carburetor Rebuild Kit review

All fitted ok. I Just used gaskets/o'rings, needle & seat and idle mixture screw suppied in the kit. I didnt use the jets as I have a yoshi pipe and I assume jetting in my carb is not standard. A list of jet sizes in the kit would have been handy as the stamping on the jets is very hard to read.

crew is handy for easy adjustment. Note. I was concerned that the idle mixture screw pictured on the website would not fit due to the limited clearance to the starter motor. The mixture screw supplied was slightly different and had a roll pin in the shaft rather than a knob on the end and clears the starter nicely. Just had to remove the roll pin to refit the fuel bowl when reassembling the carby. Read Less
