James Dean designed the JDJetting kits so that you don't have to be an expert to get professional high performance results!! The James Dean custom jetting kit is designed to improve throttle response throughout the range by using specially made multi-taper needles. These are more highly developed and fine-tuned than stock jetting parts.

Each four stroke kit typically includes:

Two, dyno developed and tested, multi-taper needles
Four main jets
Comprehensive detailed instructions with colour photos
Needle clip
Pumper o-rings
Pilot or leak jets are supplied in kits if required!

Suzuki DRZ400E JD Jetting Kit

Purchased for my 2021 Suzuki DRZ400E. Fitted the blue needle as recommended for my altitude. Standard pilot jet (45) and main jet (165) left in as also what was recommended. Very pleased with the result as it has got rid of the off-idle hesitation it had. Also fitted the Flexjet remote access fuel/air screw and set at 2 turns out. Word of warning ...Read More

you need to remove the float bowl to remove the original fuel(pilot) screw otherwise it will not come out the hole in the float bowel. Also you need to drill out the access hole in the fuel bowel to fit the Flexjet - Try 6mm. Also put the Flexjet through the drilled hole in the float bowel and thread it in before attaching the float bowel. The adjustment of the fuel/pilot jet screw made a great improvement to my bikes warm up. Now on start up with choke on, when the engine revs start to drop choke goes off and the bike nicely idles. No longer takes what seemed like ages to warm up so that you can ride off slowly without it needing clutch slip and revving. Read Less
