Pro Spotlight: Dean Ferris’ KTM 450 SX-F main image

Triple Australian motocross champion Dean Ferris has established himself as one of the greats of motocross and supercross in Australia. For 2020, he's riding with the Raceline Recover8 KTM squad, where he'll pilot a KTM 450 SX-F. We look over his ride at the parts you can buy yourself to be just like Raceline KTM rider!

Pro Circuit Ti-6 Pro Titanium exhaust system:
Pro Circuit is a leader when it comes to exhaust systems (and all things dirt bike performance!), and Ferris has the Ti-6 Pro Titanium Exhaust System system fitted to his bike. The premium exhaust system provides a boost in overall performance and a significant reduction in weight, which is thanks to its titanium construction.

Strike Seats seat cover:
When you're riding as fast Dean Ferris (and even if you're not!), you need a good gripper seat to keep your butt planted on the bike. Ferris has a Strike Seats seat cover fitted his KTM, which has a custom colour combination made for the team.

Neken SFH handlebars:
One part factory riders get a lot of choice over are handlebars, and the Recover8 KTM team uses Neken for its riders. Ferris has stuck with the tapered version called the SFH. The SFH bars by Neken are 5mm smaller in the clutch and throttle sections than on a normal handlebar, however the brand makes its full-size adult grips 4mm thicker to still give a normal thickness feel while reducing vibration.

Motorex lubricants:
A sponsor of the team, Recover8 KTM uses Motorex wide and extensive range of dirt bike oils and lubricants.

Dunlop tyres:
Making the switch for 2020, Recover8 KTM now runs Dunlop tyres across its bikes. It really depends on the track as to what tyre Dean is using, however you'll typically find him using the MX33 mid/soft option.

Polisport plastics:
Recover8 KTM has gone with a mainly orange look for 2020, with Polisport providing the plastics on Ferris' MX1 contender.

Moto-Master brake discs:
KTM's are fitted with some of the best brakes in the business, and Ferris' stopping power is only improved by a pair of Moto-Master discs. Made to the tightest tolerances and specifications, Moto-Master uses a flame design that aids in the cooling and cleaning of the contact surface.
