Following a year toughing it out as a privateer in the MX Nationals and Australian Supercross Championship, then parting ways with Recevoer8 KTM amid the pandemic this year, popular Queensland-based Jesse Dobson found a home at Serco Yamaha for the 2020 Australian Motocross Championship.

In this instalment of Pro Spotlight, we highlight a number of key components on his factory Yamaha YZ250F which you can get yourself!

Pro Taper bars and grips:
Serco, the company behind the Serco Yamaha squad, is actually a distributor for a number of popular motocross brands, and Pro Taper is one of them. You'll find Pro Taper EVO handlebars on Dobson's dirt bike, along with Pro Taper half-waffle grips.

Dunlop tyres:
There's no questioning that Dunlop is one of the most popular brands used by teams in motocross and supercross, and it's exactly what you'll find fitted to the Australian's bike. What tyre he uses changes from track to track, however he has a range to choose from in the Geomax range.

Yoshimura RS-4 Titanium exhaust:
Yoshimura is another brand distributed by Serco, and you'll see a RS-4 Titanium exhaust system on Dobson's MX2 contender. The team has a tight relationship with the exhaust manufacturer, so much so, that its input was used to develop the RS-4 for the Yamaha YZ250F.

SPP rear brake pedal:
The team makes a number of its own parts through its Serco Performance Parts brand, which anyone can also access. The SPP rear brake pedal on the Queenslander's bike not only looks cool, but it also offers enhanced durability over the standard unit.

Pro Taper chain & sprockets:
Pro Taper parts aren't just restricted to the cockpit on Dobson's racer, they're also a key part of the drivetrain. The Serco Yamaha squad uses both sprockets and chains from Pro Taper across its motocross and supercross bikes.

Galfer front brake rotor:
Dobson runs an oversized Galfer 280mm front brake rotor, which provides greater braking power. Interestingly, he still uses a standard rear brake rotor.

Hinson clutch components:
Hinson is the best when it comes to clutch components, and that's exactly why Dobson uses a complete Hinson set-up on his Yamaha contender - including that factory-looking clutch cover (which is available to any rider).
