Pro Gear: Jay Wilson's Racing Kit main image

MXstore ambassador Jay Wilson is one of the most stylish riders in the country, and there's good reason why - he has an MX Nationals MX2 and 2 Australian Supercross Championship SX2 titles to his name.

The Gold Coast-based father of one, who races for the Yamalube Yamaha Racing team, uses a list of premium products available in our range, so you can kit yourself in the very same gear that he battles Australia's best in!

Just1 J12 helmet:

Just1 is a team sponsor of the Yamalube Yamaha Racing team, and the J12 helmet is worn by Jay and his teammates. The J12 is Just1's premium helmet offering, and it's made from a full carbon fibre external shell, meaning it weighs in at 1250 grams.

The lid, which comes in two shell sizes and two EPS sizes, features the J.1.E.R. emergency cheek pad removal system - a must when you're riding and racing at the highest level.

Scott Prospect goggle:

Scott is another team sponsor, and Jay chooses to wear the brand's top of the market Prospect goggle. The Prospect goggle offers riders the maximum amount of field of vision, and this is thanks to the extra height of the lens. It boasts Scott's lens lock system, and the goggle itself has exceptional fitment and helmet integration, which comes through the outrigger system on the goggle frame. One of the most unique aspects of the Prospect is its dual tear-off posts on both sides.

Scott 450 Podium/350 Swap gear set:

You'll find Jay wearing a number of different Scott gear sets from race to race, but some of his most popular kits include the 450 Podium and 350 Swap ranges. The 450 Podium gear set features a highly-ventilated, athletic fit jersey, while the pant is designed with lightweight, breathability and durability in mind.

The 350 Swap gear set, which is a more affordable offering from Scott, boasts a light and vented jersey with an athletic design, and is designed to be mixed and matched with the pants.

The Scott 350 Swap Pant has a tough construction and articulated fit, and features strategically placed stretch and vent panels for added. The pants are plain and simple, and are meant to be paired up with multiple jerseys in the Swap range.

Fist Handwear gloves:

Jay wears Australia's very own Fist Handwear gloves, and you can find him in various options of their flavourful designs. The Fist Handwear glove uses a sublimated four-way stretch twill spandex upper construction, and is paired with a single layer Clarino palm that makes for the best fit and feeling on the motocross bike. The gloves are quite minimalistic in construction, yet full-on in design - there's bound to be one that suits your taste.

Alpinestars Tech 10 boots:

The Alpinestars Tech 10 boots is one of the most popular and trusted boot in motocross, and it's the boot of choice for Jay. The Tech 10 recently underwent a makeover, improving what was already a leader in the market.

The new Tech 10 offers advanced safety and protective features, such as the dynamic heel compression protector, double pivot motion control system, inner ankle brace, and one of the best buckle systems available. The Tech 10 is the premier boot when it comes to comfort, safety and support, and that's a good reason why you'll see Jay shifting gears in a pair of them.

Hi Noel, We have checked in with Jay the legend himself about his handlebars. :) Unfortunately, Jay's bars have been custom made and aren't available for purchase! Although we don't have those exact bars, we have a bunch of other great styles and bends which you can check out on our website. Cheers legend, all the best!
