't feel a thing. works well under and over the jersey. CONs: it's larger than a basic chest plate, so it's not right for you if you just want roost protection. it's smaller than a pressure suite, so it's not for you if you want shoulder and elbow protection. Besides protecting me from a lot of roost, I did have 1 large off when I was high sided quite badly. While I was winded for a minute, I had literally zero pain in my chest and ribs (which I landed on) and i'm guessing the neck brace did its job too as zero neck issues. Overall with this short amount of riding I love it and highly recommend it if you're after a medium level of protection. I have a full pressure suit too, however after wearing this chest protector i'll only use the pressure suit when it's very cold.
