Wreckers To Checkers Customer Edition

The Builds Are Over To You
Seven builds. Three seasons. One simple idea. Take a wrecked bike, a tight budget and a deadline, and see what comes out the other side.
Wreckers to Checkers has always been about real builds. No lounge room show pieces. No unlimited budgets. Just marketplace finds, late nights in the workshop and the satisfaction of hearing something fire up that wasn't running when you found it.
Season 3 brought back three builders. Jena, Oliver and Beechey. Each with a $7,000 budget and a rough bike to transform. A 2007 Kawasaki KX250F. A 2010 Suzuki RM-Z250. A 2002 KTM 250SX. Turning their Facebook finds into bikes built to be ridden hard.
But that same story plays out in garages all over Australia every single week. And that's exactly why we're handing Wreckers to Checkers over to you.
How It Works
It's simple. Post your bike build before and after on Instagram or Facebook using #WreckersToCheckers and tag @mxstore. Show us where it started and where it ended up.
Once a month we go through every submission, pick the best build and reward that rider with a $500 MXstore voucher. The winning build gets featured right here on the blog and across our socials.
No professional builds. Just real riders, real wrenching and real results.
What We're Looking For
The best submission won't always be the flashiest build. We're looking for:
A clear before and after. A compelling story. The kind of build that makes other riders think "I know exactly what that felt like."
The Prize
Every month one rider walks away with a $500 MXstore voucher to put straight back into the build, the gear or whatever the bike needs next.
How To Enter
Post your before and after on Instagram or Facebook, tag @mxstore and use #WreckersToCheckers. That's it. We'll do the rest.
Submissions are open now and we select our first winner in July.
This Is Your Series Now
We had over 100 riders put their hand up before we even launched this. The demand was already there. This is just us making it official.
Show us what you've built.
