Ogio 9800 Rig Gear Bag Review main image

The Ogio Rig 9800 is one of the most popular and trusted motocross gear bags on the market, and it's thanks to easy access, robust construction, exceptional durability, and a list of impressive features.

The Rig 9800 gear bag has enough room for three full days of riding, with a clean gear set each day. The padded helmet chamber keeps your helmet safe and sound, and the remainder of large main compartment fits your MX boots, kneeguards/braces, neck brace and armour, and sometimes even a goggle bag.

There are two pockets located on the underside of the lid, and we like to use this for a hydration pack and other bits and pieces, such as spare socks, knee brace spares, and of course, deodorant!

The entire bag has been Scotch guarded, and the open nature of the bag makes it incredibly easy to vacuum sand and dirt out of it. The rolling luggage bag's construction is super strong - enough to handle the weight of all your motocross gear and be thrown around in the harshest conditions, which is mainly thanks to the underneath sled and oversized wheels.

One of the best things about the heavy-duty Ogio 9800 is its versatility in becoming one of the strongest travel bags - so if you're parking the bike up and heading on an overseas holiday, you can quickly transform into the ultimate luggage hauler.

The helmet compartment becomes shoe storage, the goggle pocket at the top makes for the perfect passport, travel info and other important doc holder, and the wide mouth lid design is perfect for separating clean and dirty clothes.

The extra pockets in the underside of the top lid perfectly fit a toiletries bag, phone charger and other miscellaneous items. Then you have the massive main compartment which will hold all the clothes needed for the most mammoth of adventures.

The large zippers have provisions for a padlock to keep the bag secure, and the solid sled on the bottom means the bag will stand up even when stupidly overloaded, amazing when you are shuffling through airports, no bending down to pick up the handle. Most staff members here at MXstore own a 9800 garbage, and with thousands of kilometres travelled, we can speak from experience. Honestly, once you own a 9800 you will never look back.
