Pro Spotlight: Dean Ferris main image

A three-time champion in the Australian Motocross Championship and former regular in FIM MXGP World Championship and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, Dean Ferris has cemented himself as one of the greatest dirt bike riders in the country.

The MX Nationals champ and Motocross of Nations representative, who's racing for Raceline Recover8 KTM racing team in 2020, sports a selection of industry-leading brands, which we detail in this edition of Industry Spotlight.

Alpinestars S-M10 helmet:
Alpinestars' flagship S-M10 helmet has cemented itself as one of the best motocross helmets on the market, and it's what protects Ferris when he's racing the country's elite contenders. The S-M10 features a lightweight carbon shell construction and boasts the industry-leading Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). The premium lid is available in a large selection of colourways and designs.

Scott Prospect goggles:
When it comes to being a triple Aussie motocross champion, you need a goggle that's going to hold up and give you clear vision for the entire 30-minute plus moto. Dean Ferris has been a long-time user of the Scott Prospect goggle, which offers an advanced dual-post tear-off system as well as a leading roll-off system for those gnarlier conditions.

Thor gear
A sponsor of the Raceline Recover8 KTM team, Ferris is kitted out in Thor jersey, Thor pants and Thor gloves. You can see the New South Welshman wearing the complete range, form the premium and athletic fit Prime Pro gear set, through to the Pulse Gear Sets and Sector Gear Kits.

Alpinestars Tech 10 boots:
The Tech 10 boot from Alpinestars has pioneered the market, and the latest iteration is what you'll find protecting Ferri's feet. CE certified, the Alpinestars Tech 10 offers superior support and protection, and it features an inner-boot that increases comfort and support. You'll generally see the Dean sporting a pair of clean white Tech 10s at any track across Australia.

Alpinestars Bionic 7 knee braces:
The brand and model of knee braces that a rider uses are always a personal choice, and Ferris chooses the Alpinestars Bionic 7. The premium offering from Alpinestars is protective and affordable, and they're sold in a pair. The Bionic 7 offers support and aids in preventing hyperextension, while it's also lightweight, ventilated and can be customised for a personalised fit.
